Taylor Strand

Taylor graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Communications. She began her career in marketing at the premier medical device company, Edwards Lifesciences, where she discovered her love of policy. Taylor then made the jump into the public sector to work in legislation.


Her government career began in the California State Capitol where she worked for Assemblymembers Devon Mathis and Philip Chen developing policies on water, agriculture, and Veterans' affairs. She took a year to work as a Deputy Campaign Manager on multiple 2016 campaigns, most notably, Congressman Darrell Issa's reelection campaign, which was the closest House race of 2016.


Taylor went on to work for then-Irvine Mayor Don Wagner on land use and development issues. She returned to the private sector to work for Razor USA as their Government Relations Manager with a focus on micromobility. Taylor's career has given her extensive experience on multiple levels of government, policy, coalition-building, campaigns, public affairs, and marketing.
