Matt Guthrie

Matt Guthrie has been a fixture in Southern California policy, advocacy and politics for close to two decades.  His experience includes a variety of high profile campaigns, government relations and advocacy for business and agriculture, and senior staff for several elected officials at the county and state levels.

 

Additionally, Matt has a degree in Political Science and has worked to develop and improve his professionalism and leadership skills through local programs.  He is a graduate of the Ventura County Leadership Academy (VCLA) and the Leadership Excellence and Action Program (LEAP), an opportunity provided to employees of the County of Ventura.

 

Having worked in both the public and private sectors, Matt has built many strong relationships throughout the central and south coast.  He has a reputation as a thoughtful and effective navigator of complex issues and policy considerations.

 

Matt is a Ventura, CA native and is married to his high school sweetheart, Rondi.  Matt and Rondi have two amazing children who maintain straight A’s and excel in both band and athletics.
